TalentInsight respects the privacy of our clients, partners, employees, candidates, website visitors, and job applicants. We believe it is important for you to understand the type of information we collect about you and how that information is used. We recognize the need for appropriate safeguards and management of personal information you provide to us or that we gather from your visit (“Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy sets forth the privacy principles TalentInsight follows with respect to your Personal Information.

Any questions, comments, or complaints about the data practices (including compliance with data privacy principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, access, security, data integrity, or enforcement) of our TalentInsight clients or partners for which TalentInsight processes data should be addressed to that client or partner.

How Personal Information Is Collected

Web Visitors
On our Site, we may collect the following Personal Information from prospective clients, prospective business partners, job applicants, and other visitors, such as name, email, phone number, company information, and address. We only obtain personally-identifying information if it is supplied voluntarily. We collect this information only for the purpose of contacting individuals who have identified themselves as prospects or applicants for our activities, services, and job openings.

We may transfer this information to or receive this information in the United States. We may share this information with third-party service providers for email processing and related services. These third parties are prohibited from using the Personal Information for any other purpose.

IP Address and Other Standard Information

As is true of many websites, we or our third-party web analytics partners may gather certain information automatically and store it in log files or systems used by us. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, device type, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, geo-location, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We will share this information with our mapping provider for the purpose of providing and optimizing this service for our visitors. Tracking Technologies

Technologies such as cookies and other similar technologies are used by TalentInsight and our marketing partners, affiliates, and email and analytics service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering, securing, and optimizing the site, tracking users’ movements around the site, and gathering demographic information about our user and visitor base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

We use cookies for our websites to remember users’ settings (e.g. language preference) and for authentication and personalization. Users can control and as the case may be consent to the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.

Our Site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, Tweet button, and other widgets which are interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, and which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the social media company.

Use of Your Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to provide you with information about TalentInsight and its products and services, including but not limited to webinars, newsletters, and job openings. You have the option at any time to opt-out of any secondary communications such as promotional communications by clicking on “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any promotional emails.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information to third parties for promotional purposes. However, we may disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law or if we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with the legal process including court orders, subpoenas, or bankruptcy proceedings; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Site; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our users or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions).

We may also disclose your Personal Information if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your Personal Information.

Other than as stated in this Privacy Policy, we will endeavor not to release your Personal Information to unknown or unaffiliated third parties.

California law requires us to state how we respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Because there is currently no industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We await the result of work by the privacy community and industry to determine when such a response is appropriate and what form it should take.

The Site may contain links to third-party sites for your convenience and/or information. If you access those links, you will leave the Site and be re-directed to a third-party site. TalentInsight does not control those sites or the privacy practices of those third-party sites, which may differ from TalentInsight’s privacy practices. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites, and the personal data you choose to provide to third-party websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website or company before submitting your personal information to them.


TalentInsight will take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete, and relevant to its intended use. We provide individuals with reasonable access to the Personal Information that they provide to us, as well as the ability to review and correct such information. To protect your privacy and security, we also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to your Personal Information. In addition, we may limit or deny access to Personal Information when providing such access would be unreasonably burdensome or expensive in the circumstances or as otherwise permitted by applicable law or regulation. We will respond to your request for access to your Personal Information within 30 days after the original email request.

Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We may post testimonials on our Site for the benefit of our prospective clients, partners, and employees. We receive express consent from the individuals whose Personal Information is posted along with the testimonial before it is posted to our Site.

Posts & Forums

We provide the TalentInsight posts and forums as a means for our clients and other users of our Site to communicate. If you use a bulletin board, blog, forum, or chat room on this Web site, you should be aware that any Personal Information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the information that you choose to submit in these forums.

Data Integrity

TalentInsight will take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information is accurate, complete, and current to its intended use. TalentInsight will only use Personal Information in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by you.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The practices described in this Privacy Policy are the current Personal Information protection policies as of the date specified above. TalentInsight reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy that we believe to be material regarding our collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information, we will endeavor to post a prominent notice on our Site at least thirty (30) days prior to our implementation of such material changes.

Onward Transfer

Sharing of Visitors’ Personal Information
We may contract with third-party providers to perform certain functions on behalf of our clients to enhance our existing product and service offerings, such as product and service support.

We may use this information to improve the TalentInsight Services we offer our clients as well as our marketing, analytics, and site functionality and to analyze trends and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

Our clients’ website pages may contain “cookies.” A cookie is a small amount of data that a Web site stores on a Visitor’s computer, which we or our clients can later retrieve. The cookie cannot be read by an entity other than us, our customer, or one of our or our clients’ service providers. We and our clients use cookies for a number of administrative purposes, such as to store Visitors’ preferences for certain kinds of information. Any use of cookies by our clients will be governed by our clients’ privacy policies.


To protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Visitors’ personal information that is processed by our services, TalentInsight utilizes a variety of industry-standard physical and logical access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network, and database monitoring, and backup systems.

We limit access to Visitors’ personal information and data to those persons and entities who have a specific business purpose for maintaining and processing such information. TalentInsight employees who have been granted physical access to a Visitor’s personal information have been made aware of their responsibilities to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of that information and have been provided training and instruction on how to do so.


Our clients are responsible to ensure that Visitor’s Personal Information is accurate, complete, and current to its intended use. Our clients have reasonable access to the personal information that they provide to us, as well as the ability to review, correct or request the deletion of such information.
